The Global Medical Reviews (GMR) is committed to ensuring transparency, safeguarding authors’ rights, and maintaining the permanent accessibility of published research.

1. Copyright and Licensing

1.1 Authors publishing in GMR retain full copyright of their articles.
1.2 By submitting to the journal, authors grant GMR the non-exclusive right of first publication.
1.3 All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
1.4 This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, reproduction, remixing, adaptation, and commercial reuse, provided the original authors and source are properly cited.

2. Permissions and Reuse

2.1 Authors are free to share, deposit, or reuse their articles immediately upon publication (self-archiving is permitted without embargo).
2.2 Acceptable repositories include:
  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject-specific repositories
  • Personal or professional websites
2.3 Third parties may reuse published content under the CC BY 4.0 license, provided that proper attribution is given.

3. Archiving and Digital Preservation

3.1 Every article published in GMR receives a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via CrossRef, ensuring stable citation and discoverability.
3.2 The version of record for each article is preserved in the official GMR digital archive, permanently maintained by the publisher.
3.3 Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published PDF in institutional or subject repositories, including a full citation and DOI link.
3.4 The journal ensures that all published content remains accessible and citable for the long term.
3.5 GMR’s archiving and repository policies are registered with Sherpa Romeo to provide transparency and international visibility.
